Sherin Mathews dead; Father confesses crime

Sherin Mathews, the three year old Indian origin Texas girl who went missing from outside her home is declared dead, as the police confirmed that the body they found near a road tunnel is that of Sherin Mathews.

She was last seen in family’s backyard in Richardson city in Texas on October 7. The father,Wesley Mathews of a 3-year-old Indian girl had told police that his daughter choked while drinking milk and he removed her body from the house as he “believed she had died”.

A warrant issued against the father read, he “physically assisted” Sherin in drinking her milk when she wouldn’t listen to him. “She was coughing and her breathing slowed,” the warrant reads. “Eventually, Wesley Mathews no longer felt a pulse on the child and believed she had died.”
