Rahul Gandhi to meet Hardik in Nov, met Patidar leader Nikhil Sawani

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi met Patidar leader Nikhil Sawani, who quit the BJP on Monday morning. However, he didn't meet Hardik Patel, but is expected to meet in November.

“Hardik Patel did not meet Rahul Gandhi today, will meet when he (Rahul Gandhi) visits from November 1-3 again,” said Patidar leader Dinesh Patel.

Nikhil Sawani said “Met Rahul Gandhi, I put forward my viewpoints with regard to the aandolan and justice to Patidars,”.



This comes at a time when the Patidar leaders have alleged BJP into bribing them to join the party. Ahead of the meeting with Gandhi, Patel tweeted, “The BJP has made a budget of Rs 500 crore for buying those campaigning against its government in Gujarat. I do not understand why this buying when there is development.”

“It’s not just me but the people of Gujarat who are fighting against the BJP. “Everyone is tired of the BJP’s dictatorship,” he added.
