Bihar minister condemns incident, Man  forced to spit, lick saliva as punishment

Nalanda, October 20: In a Brutal Incident, an elderly man was severely punished at Sarpanch office for entering into Sarpanch's house without knocking the Door.

According to the reports, A 54-year-old man in Nalanda district of Bihar was allegedly forced to spit and then lick his saliva off the ground as punishment for entering the village sarpanch's (head) house without knocking.

The incident took place in the Ajaipur village of Noorsarai block in Nalanda. The village is the home district of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Mahesh Thakur, the victim, was also beaten with slippers by women. A video also emerged which showed the man being beaten by at least two women.

The man had gone to meet the village head to avail a government scheme.

From this perspective, Bihar Cabinet Minister Nand Kishore Yadav on Friday assured that culprits will be booked.
