Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to get Two billion USD hydropower project by China

China once again proved its friendship to Pakistan, the country has planned to complete a hydropower project worth two billion USD ahead of time in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
According to reports this project will not only solve the energy crisis problem faced by Pakistan but will also create employment for the locals. However the time schedule is not memtioned yet.
The Karot Hydropower Project is being built on Jhelum river on "Build-Own-Operate-Transfer" basis for 30 years.
Karot Power Company Limited will own the project for 30 years after which the ownership will be transferred to Pakistan.
