Fire erupts in Rohini Hospital,one dead

Hanamkonda OCT 17: A major fire accident took place at Rohini Super Speciality Hospital in Hanamkonda yesterday.One patient has died in the accident and 2 others have been injured.

The hospital staff have rescued around 19o patients who were present in the hospital during the accident.

Sources say that fire broke out after an oxygen cylinder got burst and smoke has erupted and lead to suffocation of the patients.

The rescue staff have immediately shifted the patients to nearest hospitals but a patient has died due to lack of proper treatment.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari visited the hospital and supervised the rescue operation, ordered an inquiry into the incident.

Police have registered a case and the probe is on.
