Governor flags off Police Martyrs' Memorial Run

Hyderabad, Oct 15: The Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ESL Narasimhan has flagged of Police Martyrs' Memorial Run at Necklace road here on Sunday morning.

The People from different walks of life, including Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma, policemen, and women, took part in the programme, which had three categories 2 km, 5 km,10 km.

While addressing the occasion, Mr. Narasimhan said that several people had sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country. Youth should come forward to protect the country, and take inspiration from the martyrs, he added.

Mr.Narasimghan also paid tributes to the 86th birth anniversary of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam.

Mr. Sharma thanked the youth and police for participating in large number in the program.
