TDP leader Nannapaneni hits out at TV Serials

Vijayawada, Oct 14: The Andhra Pradesh state Women Corporation Chairperson and senior TDP leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari has demanded to set up a board to censor the TV serials before they get aired, in view of growing evil content on television daily.

In a media-talk after meeting AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to serve a complaint in this regard, Rajakumari asked the government to quickly implement all essential steps to avoid the violence in Telugu daily serials.

"Earlier, I wrote a letter to centre in this regard but failed to get a response from them. As makers of some serials are going beyond a point to showcase the objectionable content, we have demanding a board to confine them," she added.

She further alleged that these serials are spreading non-violence and evil content on television which is indirectly impacting the common families in state. Earlier we have seen a similar demand against Hindi television serials for projecting women in grey shades and in an objectionable manner.
