Hyderabad Metro Fares at a lower Price

Hyderabad, OCT 13: The Telangana State government in a move to make public transport convenient and reasonable has ordered Hyderabad Metro Rail Authorities to fix the train fares at reasonable rates which are lower than other cities. Currently, the maximum fare is as follows in various cities

# Mumbai - Rs. 110
# Chennai - Rs. 70
# Delhi - Rs. 60
# Bengaluru - Rs. 60

Sources say that the government wants the wants to be a lower late and officials are discussing various options and have not yet decided the fare and a decision would be taken soon.

Currently, the Project is being constructed by L&T officials with the cost of Rs 14000 crore. The government wants the fares lowe because recently Delhi metro has hiked fares and has faced crticism.

Meanwhile, HMR officials are currently concentrating on completion of the project which would be inaugurated by the Pm Modi on Nov 28.

The officials have recently demolished an 90 year 'The Royal' situated ahead of the Nampally railway station as a part of road expansion. Currently, works are at a brisk pace at Ameerpet Interchange station.
