B.Tech girl Student commits Suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 12: Here is tragic incident has appeared while a 21-year-old B.Tech student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Suraram under the Dundigal police station limits on Wednesday evening.

The incident has occurred around 3pm on Wednesday, came to light only when the family informed the police around 9 pm.

The student, Mounika, was a B.Tech fourth year student at a private engineering college in the city.

"She hanged herself when her family members were away from home," police said.

The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy and a case has been registered.

"We are suspecting that Mounika committed suicide as she was admonished by her mother," a senior official said, adding that this would be clear only after further investigation.
