ICC Test Rankings, Ravi Ashwin Slips 4th position

New Delhi, October 11: South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada has gained two slots to reach a career-best third position in the latest ICC Test rankings.
Rabada's promotion meant Ravichandran Ashwin slipped one spot to fourth, while Rangana Herath moved to the fifth position in the rankings.
Rabada was adjudged as the player of the match in the second Test of recently concluded two-match Test series against Bangladesh, which the hosts won 2-0.
With five wickets in each of the two innings, Rabada managed to overtake Sri Lankan veteran Rangana Herath, as well as Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin
However, the right arm fast bowler is eight points behind second placed Ravindra Jadeja (884 points) and 20 behind top-ranked James Anderson (896 points) of England.
