Telangana Minister Talasani's car meets accident

Hyderabad, Oct 11: In a ghastly incident, The Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's car thrashed by a heavily loaded lorry here on Wednesday morning.

He had a narrow escape in what could have been a major accident at Keesara in Medchal district. The Medchal MLA Sudheer Reddy accompanying the Minister sustained minor injuries when a heavily loaded transport lorry hit their when it was in a stationary position off the highway.

The Minister and MLA were headed to Medchal to inaugurate new district offices on the occasion of the first anniversary of the new districts in the state. They halted at a roadside dhaba to fresh up before reaching the program venue in Medchal.



A Madhya Pradesh lorry with a heavy load of cargo, which was also proceeding towards Medchal, hit the car from behind causing damage to it.

As Talasani was out of the car to have a face wash, he escaped unhurt. Sudheer Reddy, who was sitting in the car, received minor injuries due to the impact.

The lorry driver was taken into custody and the vehicle was seized. The Minister and MLA proceeded to the program.
