Messis Hat-trick powers Argentina to 2018 FIFA World Cup

Argentina OCT 11: Argentina has qualified for 2018 FIFA World cup after famous player Lionel Messi has scored a hat-trick to win against Equador 3-1 in the Quito.It was a must-win match for the team to qualify for the football world cup.

However, teams such as Netherlands, Chile and United States of America have failed to qualify for the 2018 world cup which will be held in Russia. Currently 23 teams have qualified for the world cup.



Belgium, England, Germany, Iceland, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain, France, Portugal, Egypt, Nigeria, Iran, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia have qualified for the mega tournament.

The World Cup matches will be held from 14 June to 15 July 2018 with 32 teams taking part. A total of 64 matches will be played in 12 venues located in 11 Russian cities. The final will be played 15 July 2018, to be played at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow.
