World Bank in dilemma, AP Govt in Shock?

Amaravati, October 10: In a major setback for the Andhra Pradesh government, The World Bank has given A shock to the Andhra Pradesh Govt. the Bank has ordered inspection of the capital city and farmers position before sanctioning the funds.

The World Bank is yet to approve the loan sought by the State government as it is currently working with the AP government and the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). Recently, some of the farmers of the state have a complaint on land pooling issue, stating that they have not been compensated fully.

Though World Bank officials visited Amaravati in the second week of September and met the farmers, it is yet to come to a conclusion. AP govt is currently in a shock as the World Bank is in the dilemma over funding to the state capital region Amaravati, which is in the process of development.
