Nigerian Citizen assaulted by Delhi people, Video goes viral

New Delhi, October 09: A Nigerian citizen was arrested on charges of robbery, The incident happened in Malviya Nagar of South Delhi

A Nigerian national was tied to a post and he was thrashed by a mob and his screams were recorded in a video that has emerged from Delhi.

With infraction of the seconds, the video went viral on the social media platforms.

The man was allegedly caught while trying to rob a house. The incident took place over two weeks ago in Malviya Nagar in south Delhi.

After the brutal assault, he was arrested and jailed but attackers are still roaming free.

He was allegedly caught inside the house of Krishna Kumar in the early hours of September 24. When he was handed over to the police that day, he was badly wounded and barely conscious.

In the mobile phone video, the Nigerian national is seen with his feet tied to a lamp post, begging for mercy as attackers keep hitting him with sticks. Voices in the background can be heard egging on the mob and saying: “Get red chilly. Beat him harder…”
