Nawaz Sharifs daughter, son-in-law granted bail

Islamabad Oct 9: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter and son-in-law were today granted bail by the country's anti-graft court in the Panama Papers scandal as they appeared before it following their return from London.

Maryam Nawaz, 43, along with her spouse, Muhammad Safdar have appeared in the Accountability Court of Judge Muhammad Bashir here.The court accepted the bail applications of both of them and postponed the hearing till October 13.

Earlier Former Prime Minister Sharif and his family members name have been exposed in Panama papers investigation which showed that PM and his family have laundered money and parked money in offshore accounts.

SIT has investigated the probe and found PM guilty of his wrongdoings and later Pakistans Supreme Court has ousted him from the post of Prime Minister.
