Vijay Fans to Cheer this Diwali Season

Chennai, October 09: Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Mersal is gearing up for a grand release this Diwali.Vijay may have one of the biggest and most ardent fan following in all of South India.

The film will release on October 18. The film will be a feast for the Vijay Fans. The makers have started promotions across various platforms to make sure the film releases to an earth-shattering response in Tamil Nadu.



The new Atlee-directed action picture has garnered adulation on the one hand, with a smashing 25 million views and nearly 1 million likes on YouTube.

It also became the most liked Indian film teaser on YouTube.

The promos were released along with the Baahubali 2: The Conclusion's TV premiere on Sunday night. Thus, Mersal; starring Vijay, SJ Suryah, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen has once again getting the trend mills buzzing.

One of the new promo videos is entirely dedicated to the central character of the film, a village leader based in Madurai. The promo video also packs a punch dialogue, where Vijay’s character talks about the great efforts and hardships that go into making a 'good leader.'

In another promo, we get to see the colourful part of the story, where Vijay can be seen romancing Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal.
