Hurricane Nate makes landfall in Mississippi

USA Oct 8: Hurricane Nate had hit the coast for the second time early Sunday.The National Weather Service said that Hurricane has hit the land near Biloxi around 12:30 a.m. local time.

National Hurricane Center said that " it first made landfall near the mouth of the Mississippi River as a Category 1 storm with winds of 85 mph at about 8 p.m".



"The deepest water will occur along the immediate coast near and to the east of the landfall location, where the surge will be accompanied by large and destructive waves," the NHC said in its advisory.

Currently, the government has advised the citizens to stay in homes and not go out.Meanwhile, rescue operations are being carried out for the people who have been affected.
