London: Car driver deliberately runs down pedestrians outside Natural History Museum

A car mows down several pedestrians outside Natural History Museum, injuring as many as 10 people. Police were quick to get hold of the situation and pinned down the driver. British Police are working to know the cause.

London police say emergency services are outside the Natural History Museum in London after a car struck pedestrians. The incident took place at 2:20 pm today when the central London museum is heavely crowded with pedestrians and tourists.

London mayor Sadiq Khan said: “Details are still emerging and I have spoken with and am in close contact with assistant Met commissioner Mark Rowley [head of UK counter-terrorism policing] and our other emergency services.”
