IAF Fighter planes,helicopters -Safety

Now and then we come across news of Indian Air Force (IAF) training aircraft, helicopter crashes and death or injury of the staff.Yesterday an IAF helicopter crashed near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, killing seven on board.In this crash a wing commander, Squadron leader, JCos and two army soldiers lost their lives.

It is not just the aircraft, fighter planes or helicopter the only considerable loss in such incidents, the airforce spends crores of Rupees in transforming a trainee to a full-fledged pilot.In the recent incident Mi-17 type the helicopter took off from Tawang nearby helipad to deliver some essentials for an army camp.

We have still decades old fighter planes and helicopters in use.It is necessary for the defence services- IAF in this matter to increase efforts to procure the latest batch of planes and other needy relevant material imports.Now our defence preparedness is in a tricky position.

At one side, age-old rival Pakistan and the other side militarily well capable china necessitate our defences to be alert all the time.

Mere diplomacy, tactics,brave fighting patriotic force is not adequate to be victorious in war. They ought to be supplied with machinery with the latest technology, keeping in mind the opponent's alround capacity.The holy cause of protection of borders will be achieved with such alertness and strength.
