Ben Stokes suspended from England Ashes team

A video showing Stokes throwing punches on a man got him arrested, this incident happened outside a pub in Bristol. Due to arrest the all-rounder's was dropped from England Ashes team. He won't travel to Australia for the Ashes. He was arrested in the early hours of September 26 after an incident in Bristol and missed the fourth and fifth one-day internationals against West Indies last month.

Stokes was arrested over his involvement in a brawl outside a pub in Bristol. The news broke as the England selectors were set to meet to finalise the Ashes squad. However, they named Stokes as part of the side.
But footage emerged last week of what looked like someone resembling Stokes landing blows repeatedly on an unidentified person outside a Bristol bar. On Friday, the dashing all-rounder was dropped from the Ashes squad pending investigation.

The selectors were instructed to select the team based on form and fitness. But due to brawl reports have emerged that he got his hand injured.
