IAF chopper crashes in Arunachal, five dead

Arunachal Pradesh Oct 6: In a tragic incident A Mi-17 V5 helicopter of the Indian Air Force has crashed in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.5 members of Airforce personnel were killed in this incident and another person is severely injured.
The incident took place at Tawang Area near Indo -China Border.The chopper crashed around 6 a.m. while it was on an Air Maintenance Mission, IAF sources said.Air Force has sent the relief team on the spot and has admitted the injured person in the hospital.
A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.The incident took place just before Air Force Day that will be celebrated on October 8.More details are awaited.
