Kashmir: Braid chopping incidents reported again

More incidents of braid chopping have been reported in Kashmir that led to panic among public. A young women raised alarm and foiled braid chopping attempt in Bandipora.

Five fresh braid cutting incidents were reported from Kashmir Valley on Thursday. On Wednesday night some miscreants chopped off the braid of a 40 year old woman at Nowdal village of Tral town in South Kashmir's district Pulwama.

The family members said that the victim was attacked as she tried to enter the washroom located outside the house. Investigation has been started by the police, and officials have confirmed the incident.
