Ravi Ashwin Praises Mersal

Chennai, October 05: Vijay's Mersal directed by Atlee is one of the biggest and most awaited

films of Kollywood right now. The film's songs by AR Rahman are impressive and the recently released teaser has upped the excitement among all the film audiences.

Ahead of it's release, Indian off-spinner Ashwin Ravichandran has posted about the rising excitement as we approach the release. His Twitter post said, "Mersal teaser seems to be a spicy starter for what could be a festival of a movie. Can't wait to see the opening day fever amongst the fans."

Vijay plays a triple role in the film, which is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Studios.

The three roles feature him as a panchayat head, a doctor, and a magician.

The film also stars Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

"Mersal", which will have simultaneous dubbed Telugu release, is set to hit the screens this Diwali.
