Mukesh Ambani tops Forbes 100 Richest Indians list 2017

New Delhi Oct 5: Forbes 100 Indian Richest 2017 list has been unveiled today. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has topped the list.His Assets stood at a net worth of $38 billion.The combined net worth of India's 100 wealthiest stood at $479 billion, a rise of 26 percent from $374 billion in 2016.

# Ambani, retained his number one spot as the world’s richest Indian for the tenth consecutive year. RIL's share price has risen over the last year on the back of the company's improved refining margins, and the telecom unit Reliance Jio's massive success and this has paved his way for him to retain his top position.

# Wipro Chairman Azim Premji stood second with his net worth $19 billion this year. He has gained $ 4 billion partly due to increased revenue and profit at his privately held consumer-goods business Wipro Enterprises, which makes everything from soaps to lightbulbs.

# The Hinduja brothers secured No. 3 with $18.4 billion and has added $3.2 billion to their net worth.

# Patanjali company CEO Acharya Balakrishna has also found his place in the list with a net worth of $ 6.55 billion.

# Yes Bank Chairman Rana Kapoor stood last in the list with a net worth of $ 1.46 billion.
