Indo-China border: Indian Army on high alert throughout winter

India Army will be on high alert across Indo-China border due to the operational alert which was declared this August as the stand-off with the Chinese troops in the Doklam plateau in Bhutan threatened India to go out of control.

The army will be on High alert 'until further notice' post the Doklam stand-off. A angry statement was issued by Beijing which included references to the 1962 Indo-China war. Indian and Chinese Troops are closely watching each other post stand-off for the past two and half months.

However, hundreds of Indian and Chinese Troops were withdrawn after the matter was resolved by intervention from the highest office from both Delhi and Beijing.

However, the situation has now cooled down in Beijing and New Delhi. But, neither side is taking chances.
"On the ground, both sides are watching the other carefully. And, it is nothing wrong keeping in mind the long stand-off," was confirmed by a source.
