Prakash Raj in trouble after comment on Modi

A case has been filed against Actor Prakash Raj over his recent comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A court in Lucknow has filed the case against him after he questioned Modi's silence over senior journalist Gauri Lankesh's murder.

Prakash Raj at 11th state meet of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) in Bengaluru said that PM Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are better actors than him. He also added that he feels like giving back his awards. But later he clarified that he is not a fool to give away his awards and said he does not belong to any political party and has questioned PM Modi as an Indian citizen.

In the video message, Prakash said, "I don't belong to any political party. As a citizen of this country, I have the right to question PM Modi. His silence over Gauri Lankesh's murder is 'chilling'."
