CISF guard fired in air to control mob at Azadpur metro station

At Azadpur station two men got into argument at the ticket counter which gathered a frenzied mob. To bring the situation under control, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel deployed at the station brought the men, and asked to pay fine.

One man who was 17-year-old, instead of paying fine called a group of rowdy mob to the station. Around 20 people gathered in the station and man handled the cops. They roughed up Delhi Police constable, M L Meena, who was taking the two men to the Kashmere Gate police station.

The crowd even grabbed collor of CISF Assistant Sub- Inspector Mohammed Umar. ASI Umar then had to fire in the air to bring the crowd under control.
