RBI to issue new RS 100 notes

Mumbai Oct 3: The Reserve bank of India is planning to introduce new Rs 100 notes in 2018.RBI officials have said that the printing of new Rs 100 notes would commence from April 2018.
Old Notes to continue
RBI has also assured that the existing Rs 100 notes would continue as legal tender even after the new Rs 100 notes would be issued and the present notes would be phased out in an existing manner.
Recently the central bank has issued new Rs 2000, Rs 500, RS 200.and Rs 50 for the Public Convenience.Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year has announced demonetization of old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
Experts say that circulation of New Rs 100 notes would ease the burden on the common man and also cautioned that central bank must not existing notes in a single move so that people won't suffer.
