Actor Dileep Kumar gets Bail from Kerala HC

Kochi, October 03: Arrested Malayalam actor Dileep today got bail from the Kerala High Court here in the actress abduction case.

Dileep was arrested on July 10 for his alleged involvement in the conspiracy surrounding the abduction and sexual assault of a woman actor in February this year. Dileep is the eleventh accused in the case.

The Kerala High Court has granted conditional bail to the actor, asking him to pay a bond of Rs 1 lakh. The Kerala HC granted bail to the actor at a time when the investigating team is all set to submit the supplementary chargesheet in a few days.

This was his fifth plea for bail, and the third before the High Court
