Kerala CM gives a fit reply to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan gave a fit reply to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat for calling Kerala anti-national. Mohan Bhagwat, a Hindu nationalist is known for his controversial speeches but this time he crossed the line by accusing Kerala as anti national.

In a Facebook post, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that such a remark was nothing but the Sangh's oft-used formula to pit people against one another. "But no communal, seditious or anti-national individual or organisation can provoke Keralites, who have rejected these outfits completely."

The RSS chief should clarify what he means by saying that the Kerala government is supporting anti-national forces for narrow political interests. "I understand that Bhagwatji is speaking such utter nonsense because his outfit failed to poison the minds of Keralites and let the BJP make narrow political gains."

'We all know the history and geography of RSS' nationalism, their activities and propaganda against the secular character of the Indian Constitution. Kerala need not be taught by the head of an outfit, which was subservient to the British, with its top brass prohibiting participation in mass movements. Kerala has a unique distinction of being the homeland of Indians, who revolted against the British rulers even before the first freedom struggle of 1857.'

RSS got a foothold in many states by spreading terrorism in the name of religion, making communally offensive comments and attacking minorities, but the Left-led secular and democratic political practices in Kerala have strengthened people's confidence to resist all such attacks unleashed by the RSS.
