3 cops suspended for torturing so-believed drug peddler

The 40-year-old is battling for life after torture in police custody.On September 27 night a so-believed drug peddler Sugga Lal was allegedly caught peddling marijuana. He was brought in Bargava police station, Singrauli where he was allegedly tortured in custody.
His health condition deteriorated to such a level that he was rushed to the Coal India Hospital in Singrauli, but the hospital authorities referred him to Banaras Medical College.
According reports, Sugga Lal had injury marks on his private parts and could not regain consciousness. his relatives filed a complaint following which 3 constables have been suspended.
