YSRCP MLA Roja demands to remove liquor shops at household areas

Chittoor, Sept 27: The Andhra Pradesh opposition YSRCP MLA Roja has supported women's dharna in Puttur, who are protesting against setting up of liquor shops in between houses.

Roja came down heavily on the government, saying many of the people are dying because of the alcohol stressed that the government should strive for the welfare of people.

She criticised the government and said the government is giving permission to establish wine shops to earn excise revenue. Speaking on the occasion, Roja said the woman and girl child's' facing abusive comments from drunkards.

The school children couldn't even go to school and tuition. She demanded the government to shift wineshops from the household area.
