German Chancellor Angela Merkel won 4th Time

Germany Sept 25: Angela Merkel has won the election for German chancellor.she will become the chancellor for the 4th time.The Grand Coalition which included large parties of the center-right and center-left have suffered a huge blow in the latest election.

Ms. Merkel's Christian Democratic Union, its Bavarian ally the Christian Social Union (CSU), and the Social Democrats (SPD) have won by least margin.This was the worst performance in last 70 years but has secured the majority in the parliament.The nationalist AfD secured the third position in the election.



Experts predict that the voters have shifted their support from the previous elections after analyzing the vote share and seats won by the parties.
