PM Modi and Home Minister Congratulate Sushma Swaraj

New Delhi Sept 24: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday has congratulated the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for delivering a visionary speech in the UNGA.

Prime Minister Modi posted a tweet and said: "A strong message was given by SushmaSwaraj Ji on the dangers of terrorism and why we have to unite and fight this menace."

He has also added that "Incredible speech by EAM SushmaSwaraj at the UN! She has made India extremely proud at the world stage."

Earlier Addressing the 72nd UNGA session in New York, External Affairs Ministry Sushma Swaraj on Saturday has ripped apart Pakistan and said that "India has established institutions like IITs, IIMs and AIIMS and Pakistan had created terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Haqqani network."



She added that "India had produced scholars, doctors, and engineers but the Asian neighbor produced terrorists."

Home Minister has also congratulated her speech and said that "Congratulations to Smt.SushmaSwaraj on her powerful, measured and nuanced articulation of India's stand on the issue of terrorism at UNGA".

He further tweeted, "Her measured responses in spite of provocations speak volumes of her maturity & tenacity. She has exposed Pakistan's duplicity on terrorism."
