Tamil Nadu Minister reveals: lied about Jayalalithaa health due to Shashikala

Tamil Nadu Senior Minister and AIADMK leader Dindigul Srinivasan has claimed that party leaders lied about Jayalalithaa's health when she was in hospital last year due to fear of Shashikala.

He said that this was to make people believe that her condition is improving. He said that no one was allowed to meet the departed Chief Minister. Whomsoever came there, was informed that she(Jayalalithaa) is fine by the relatives of Shashikala.

Addressing a public meeting, Srinivasan said that he apologizes to the AIADMK workers and the public for lying about Jayalalithaa's health.

Reports about leaders being not allowed to see Jayalalithaa in hospital raised concern last year but the issue came to light now.
