50 nations signs nuclear weapon ban treaty

More than 50 countries signed a nuclear ban treaty today . "You are the states that are showing moral leadership in a world that desperately needs such moral leadership today," Beatrice Fihn, executive director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, said as a signing ceremony began.

According to this treaty, the countries which sign it would be barred from developing, testing, producing, manufacturing, otherwise acquiring, possessing or stockpiling nuclear weapons "under any circumstances."



After seven decades of US Dropping Nuclear Bombs on Japan, UN wants everyone to stop making such threatful bombs which may vanish the existence of mankind.However still 15,000 of Nuclear Bombs are believed to exist in the world today.
