Robbers loot gold, unknown person returns it safely to the owner

A local mechanic Shekhar Kunder’s house was robbed and the burglars took away 99 sovereigns of gold and cash. The burglary took place when the couple were away at work.

A couple of days later the valuables were returned by unknown men with an advice.....Keep your gold safe in a bank locker!"

The letter, written in Kannada, reads:
"I was passing by this house. I saw four men in the compound holding packets. I asked them what they had in them, but they tried to assault me and fled. I managed to hold on to one of the packets, which I am returning back to you. I did not approach the police as I don't want trouble. Do not keep gold and valuables in your house, keep them safe in a bank locker."

Kunder was happy seeing the packet containing all the stolen items .
