Insult to the poor; shiv sena on Alphons comment

Shiv sena slammed Alphons’ remarks on fuel price hike and said high fuel prices was the main reason for suicide by farmers in the country. They even said that those who do not have any merit and any contact with common people are ruling the nation.

They called the comment made by Alphons as an ‘insult’ to the poor and middle class. An editorial in Sena’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ said, “The poor have never been insulted even in the Congress regime.”

Farmers are dying due to hunger, financial conditions are bad, huge unemployment has hit the nation and at this time spending money on bullet train is a waste was asserted by Sena. They even said only a mad person would praise the bullet train project at such a time.
