AP CM held inspection over Polavaram Project works

West Godavari, Sept 18: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday will be inspecting the ongoing Polavaram Project works and conducted an aerial survey on Polavaram project site at Eluru in West Godavari district.

While speaking to the media, CM Chandrababu has expressed his disappointment due to the delay in the completion of the project works and will be participating in a review meeting with contract companies and officials in order to speed up the works.



Earlier, the AP government issued notices to Transstroy and the remaining works are to be handed over to another company. The decision to continue with the existing contractor or hand over remaining works to another company will be made today.

He stated that the people will notice stability and all-round development in the state after the completion of the project.

The Chief Minister also said that he has completed a virtual inspection of the project over 40 times and physical inspection 19 times to supervise the progress of the project.
