Chennai, September 17: Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat against the mighty Australia in the first One-Day International here at Chinnaswamy stadium on Sunday.

Ajinkya Rahane has opened the batting while Hardik Pandya is expected to bat at No 7.

Ravindra Jadeja, who replaced left-arm spinner Axar Patel on Saturday, was not included in the starting XI.



Now India is at 26/3 after, 8.3 overs, Opener Rahane scored only 5 runs, and both Kohli, Manish Pandey out for the duck.

Australian pacer, Coulter Nile has bowled superbly to the Indian batsmen.Rohit Sharma, Kedav jadav currently handling the situation.
