PM Modi Celebrated 67 Birthday

New Delhi sept 17: Indian Prime Minister on Sunday has turned 67 and currently he is in his home state to celebrate his birthday .earlier in the morning he took blessings from his mother and has inaugurated the Sardar Sarvor dam in Gujarat.

Currently, Modi is being termed as the Indias strongest Prime Minister and his following among the citizens has surpassed the popularity of Indira Gandhi former PM who imposed Emergency.

Some of the Important Decisions which he took as PM are

Demonetization: PM on November 8, 2016, in his address to the nation has declared that the existing Rs 500 and RS 1000 notes would become invalid and said that people can deposit their money in banks and a 50 day window period was provided.

Many people have borne the pain and faced hardships and opposition leaders have criticized the decision and recent report by RBI has said that 99 % of old notes have returned to the banks.

However, the people have given him the support and the BJP has won the recent Uttar Pradesh elections with a bumper majority.



Goods and Services Tax: Termed as Indias biggest tax reform since independence is being implemented in the country from July 1, 2017. Currently, the rollout of the tax is being smooth.

However many traders have protested and some people have faced difficulties because of the complex tax system.But many people feel that the new tax system will benefit India in the long run.

End of VIP Culture: The PM right from his tenure has said that he is a primary servant and has said that he trusts his fellow countrymen and took several initiatives in these directions and he has tried to promote social and financial inclusion by providing bank accounts, making Aadhar mandatory to plug leakages etc.

Finally, political experts have said that his popularity is intact and he would definitely win the 2019 elections.Many leaders have expressed their greetings on his birthday.
