BJP MP Mahant Chandnath dies of cancer

Jaipur, September 17: BJP Party leader and Member of Parliament from Alwar, Mahant Chandnath has died at a hospital in Delhi on Sunday morning.

The news was revealed by the BJP state spokesperson Anand Sharma said Chandnath was suffering from cancer.

From this backdrop, The Prime Minister has expressed his condolences over the death of MP Mahant ChandNath.

He took his twitter and condolence that, "Saddened by the demise of LS MP from Alwar, Mahant ChandNath ji. He will be remembered for his rich social work. My deepest condolences," the prime minister said in a tweet.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje also expressed condolences to the bereaved family members, saying it is an irreparable loss to her and the entire BJP family.

Mahant Chand Nath will be remembered for his contribution to the developmental works, she said.

"I wish peace for the departed soul," Raje said in a tweet.

State BJP President Ashok Parnami and other local MLAs of the BJP in Alwar district also condoled the death of Mahant.
