Simran vs Lucknow Central box office: Kangana and Farhan movies close to tie

Kangana ranaut's Simran made Rs 2.77 crore , while farhan Akhtar's Lucknow Central made Rs 2.04 crore, thus Simran took the trophy of Day 1.

The two movies are in neck and neck fight, Simran got full publicity before release whereas Lucknow Central had quiet publicity campaign.

As it is said bad publicity is also good publicity, the line stands true for kangana's movie Simran. Even though the movie, Simran is very disappointing it was able to beat Lucknow Central, which has a strong story and cast, on first day due to kangana's publicity.
