DIG Roopa,who reported about bribery and AIADMK’s VK Sasikala, gets Presidents medal

DIG Roopa, is the cop who dared to submit a report on AIADMK’s VK Sasikala receiving preferential treatment inside Bengaluru Central Prison. She even mentioned in the report that, then deputy general of police, prisons, HN Sathyanarayana Rao was bribed for making this arrangements.
Soon after her report she was transferred out of the prisons department to the traffic and road safety department. An enquiry in the bribery case is yet to be done.
After receiving President’s medal for Meritorius Service at the Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru by governor Vajubhai Vala ,DIG Roopa expressed her happiness but didn’t comment about her transfer.
