TSRTC to operate late hour bus trips after 9 pm for the convenience of passengers

Hyderabad, Sept 16: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided to operate late hour bus trips after 9 pm for the convenience of passengers in some of the high-density corridors. Following complaints from passengers on the need for late hour trips for those heading home late in the night, the decision was taken after a survey.

The Greater Hyderabad Zone of RTC carried out the traffic survey in high-density corridors of the city including Hayathnagar, NGOs Colony, ECIL x roads, Kushaiguda, Jeedimetla, Koti, Kondapur, Secunderabad, Miyapur, Lingampally, Mehdipatnam, and Uppal.

The need for buses during late hours of a day i.e., after 9 pm was assessed during the exercise, according to a press release. A total of 93 late hour trips would be operated on 35 different routes along the high-density corridors, the release added.
