Fire accident emerged at RK Studio in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sept 16: A massive fire emerged at Chembur's RK Studio at around 2.30pm on Saturday.There are Six fire engines and water tankers have been rushed to the spot. Fire officials, however, said that the blaze has been brought under control and no one has been injured in the incident.

The fire broke out at the sets of the TV show 'Super Dancer' on the second floor of the studio building.There was no crew on the set. Chief fire officer P Rahangdale said that the fire began at the decorative equipment in the studio.

"As the items are highly inflammable, the fire spread very fast. We have managed to bring it under control," he added.



The RK studio, based on VN Purav Marg in Chembur, houses the logistics of the RK Films production company, both established by and named after Bollywood actor, producer, and director Raj Kapoor. The cause of the fire will be ascertained after a proper inquiry, said another official.
