Sindhu Advances ,Sameer disappoints in Korean Super series

Seoul Korea Sept 15: Indian Badminton player P V Sindhu has progressed to the semifinals of women's singles in Korea Open Super Series, here today. Another Indian player Sameer Verma has disappointed by losing in the men's singles event today.

Sindhu has won the quarterfinals against Japanese Minatsu Mitani by scoring 21-19, 16- 21, 21-10. She will face Sung Ji Hyun or He Bingjiao in the semifinal.

The Rio Olympic silver medalist has dominated her opponent right from the start and never let an opportunity down and kept her nerves till the end to win the game.

Meanwhile, in another match, Sameer has lost to Korean player Son Wan. The player has lost by 22-20, 10-21, 13-21.The player looked little nervous throughout the game and couldn't continue his momentum after he won the first set.
