Kaniyan Poongundran (Vishal) is a detective like Sherlock. But he isn’t completely a “high-functioning sociopath”. Kaniyan is emotional and approaches his cases emotionally . He has conscience and compassion, which he’s afraid to show. Kaniyan has a sidekick Prabhakaran (Prasanna), Dr John H. Watson’s Indian counterpart. For Mrs Hudson, we have Malar (Anu Emmanuel).

The story starts when a school boy wants to know who killed his dog, he requests Kaniyan to solve the case and is ready to pay with his piggy bank.The murder of the dog is not just a simple case but behind it lies a big corporate conspiracy, many murders and criminal organization.
