Girl alleges BJP leader for raping her

Mumbai, Sept 14: As we know that, A BJP leader from Karnataka accused in a rape case. Now, similarly, another Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Daya Gaikwad, has been booked for allegedly raping a 27-year-old woman from Thane.

The victim girl stated that "BJP corporators Daya Gaikwad raped me at the house of Ashwini Dhumal on September 26".

The victim said that she got to know about Gaikwad through Facebook.



"He said that he would marry me.I didn't know that he was married," the victim said.

A case has been booked under section 376 (punishment for rape),323(voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and other sections 504,34 of the Indian Penal Code(IPC).

The police are probing the matter.
