Modi and Abe to lay foundation for Bullet Train Tommorow

Ahmedabad Sept 13: Indian dreams of becoming a Developed nation would become a step closer tomorrow. Indian PM Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Shinzo Abe would lay a Foundation stone for the Country's Most Prestigious Project 'Bullet Train' in India.

Currently, India doesn't have Bullet train and the completion of the project would raise the countrys Infrastructure to a global standard.

The Main Features of the project are

* The track would be laid between Mumbai and Ahmedabad

* 468 Km of the Elevated corridor, 13 Km on land, 27 Km underground Tunnel(7 Km under the sea).

* The speed of the train is 320-350 Km per hour

* Time taken to travel is 3 hrs.(currently it takes 7-8 hrs travel)

* The cost of the project is 1.10 lakh crore

* Japan Government will fund Rs 88,000 crore at 0.1 % interest rate for 50 years and a moratorium of 15 years.

* Nearly 50,000 people would be employed.

* 10 coaches with a capacity of 750 seats.
